Condition: Very Good!
This guitar is in Very Good condition, with very little cosmetic wear for an instrument from the 1960s. The bass/treble switch is missing, but the three pickup switches and the volume and tone controls work as they should. Other than that switch, it’s 100% original and fully functional. It’s in great playing condition and ready to go!
Description
This is a 1960s Teisco Del Rey ET-320, a classic of the golden era of Japanese guitars! In Japan it was sold as the Teisco TG-64, and “Teisco Del Rey” was the name on the ones imported to the US. It has an offset body with the famous monkey grip handle cut right into it, and a brushed metal pickguard that holds three single-coil pickups. Each pickup has its own on/off rocker switch along with a master volume and tone knob. Those pickups sound bright, punchy and a little snarly, which is perfect for surf, garage rock and anything else that needs some vintage attitude. This is the exact same model and finish as Rory Gallagher owned. Come see it and play it for yourself in Mansfield!
