Mark Holcomb's 7-string signature truly stands on its own in the PRS lineup, and it's seriously addictive to play! It has a 26.5" scale for tight low end, 24 jumbo frets and a wide thin satin maple neck under a flat 20" radius bound ebony fretboard with bird inlays.
Mark's signature Seymour Duncan Scarlet and Scourge 7-string humbuckers have just the right output, with aggression, clarity and articulation on chords or solos, alone or in a full band mix. A 3-way blade switch and a push/pull tone knob for coil tapping (pull up for single coil) open up cleaner sounds too. A string-through, plate-style 7-string bridge with individual saddles adds resonance and sustain with spot-on intonation, and PRS-designed tuners keep it stable. It's finished in Holcomb Blue Burst over a quilted maple veneer, with black hardware and a PRS gig bag.
