This Limited Edition Electromatic CVT is a retro-refined take on a classic Gretsch design, with essential Gretsch style and playability built to take your sound up a notch!
The body is solid black limba with beveled contours. Black limba is an exotic wood with one-of-a-kind looks and a smooth, rich midrange with plenty of presence and clarity. The beveled edges look sharp and feel great against your body, and a smooth rounded heel opens up the top frets.
The bolt-on black limba neck has Gretsch's comfortable, fast Performance "C" shape with tapered shoulders. It's topped with a bound rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, and rosewood adds warmth and a singing midrange. A Graph Tech NuBone nut keeps the tuning stable.
Two Twin Six humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets deliver gut-punching power with strong mids, crisp highs and full lows, all with great balance and articulation. Each has twelve adjustable pole pieces and is wax-potted to keep noise down. The controls are simple: master volume with a treble bleed circuit, master tone and a three-way toggle. The adjustable wraparound bridge adds sustain and attack with pinpoint intonation. Gold hardware, knurled metal knobs and a black/white/black pickguard set off the Sunburst finish!
