This Dobro Model 33C California Girl was built around 2000 at Gibson’s Nashville factory, after Gibson bought the Dobro name and brought production to Music City. It has a chrome-plated bell brass body with the famous California Girl artwork sandblasted into the metal, so it looks as good as it sounds! A single-cone resonator, two f-holes and a biscuit bridge give it that loud, bright, cutting resonator voice for slide, blues and bluegrass. This is the round neck version, with a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and a neck that joins the body at the 14th fret, so you can play it on your lap or standing up like a regular guitar. The original hardshell case is included. Come see it and play it for yourself in Mansfield!
