There are a few areas of finish damage on the body, and each one is shown in the photos. The frets and fretboard show minimal signs of use. All electronics, including the onboard effects, function perfectly. Recently set up and ready to play.

The Beast FX is a rare one! Epiphone made it for just a short run around 2001 as part of their E-Series, so you get the red "E" emblem on the headstock instead of the Epiphone script. It takes the Explorer shape and gives it a meaner, modified edge, then builds two effects right into the guitar: a distortion with its own gain knob that goes from a bluesy clip to a full-on overdrive, and a bucket-brigade chorus. Each one kicks on with its own mini toggle and runs true bypass, so your clean tone stays put when they're off. Underneath all that is a fast bolt-on hard maple neck with a satin finish, a pair of hot E-Series humbuckers and a Tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body anchoring. Built in Korea.

Specifications:

Body: Solid body, modified Explorer-style shape

Neck: Bolt-on hard maple, Super-Slide satin finish

Fingerboard: Indian rosewood with dot inlays

Frets: 22

Scale Length: 24.75"

Nut Width: 1.68"

Headstock: Explorer-S with E-Series emblem

Pickups: 2 E-Series Ultra Hot humbuckers

Controls: Volume, Tone, Distortion Gain, 3-way pickup selector, 2 mini toggles for the distortion and chorus

Electronics: Active (onboard effects board)

Bridge: Tune-o-matic with string-through body

Hardware: Chrome, black speed knobs

Made in: Korea

Please feel free to reach out to us with any special requests or questions.
