Caballo Tono Ligero, Relic
The Caballo Tono Ligero, or “light tone horse,” is an exclusive design from the Fender Custom Shop with remarkable features that you can't find in standard Fender models. Crafted with a resonant ash body and f-hole, it features a relic lacquer finish that mimics years of wear. A 3A flame maple neck with a 10/56 “V” profile, 9.5” fingerboard radius, and narrow tall (6105) frets provide a comfortable and agile playing experience.
Chrome T.V. Jones pickups offer an distinct "growl" that is often described as being between single-coil and humbucker tones. This guitar also features a 3-way switch, Fat ’50s Tele wiring, single-ply pickguard, sawed off bridge with RSD saddles, Modern Locking tuning machines, bone nut and vintage disc string tree. The LTD Caballo Tono Ligero comes with a deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate.
