LTD 75th Anniversary Stratocaster, NOS
Seventy-five years ago, Fender unveiled the Stratocaster, revolutionizing the world of electric guitar playing. Blending beauty, functionality and innovation, the Strat has gone on to become synonymous with the genre and has spurred the emergence of new playing styles and genres. To honor this milestone, the Fender Custom Shop proudly presents the 75th Anniversary Stratocaster.
The two-piece select alder body is finished in a luxurious "Diamond White Pearl" nitrocellulose lacquer, which was developed exclusively for this limited edition 75th Anniversary version. Highlighted by gold hardware and an anodized gold guard, the finish is particularly striking against the lightly tinted 5A quartersawn, birdseye maple neck. Typically a pricey addition, the neck is rounded out by a dark rosewood fingerboard with narrow tall frets, mother-of-pearl face dots and cubic zirconia side dots. The golden 8-hole guard contains the hand-wound Fat '60s pickups with reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle. The five-way switching and Fat '50s Strat wiring offer a robust tone. The Fat '60s pickups offer a classic '60s Stratocaster sound with plenty of definition.
Other features include Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines with pearl buttons, bone nut, and “wing” string tree with metal spacer. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
