Rules: All entrants must be age 17 or under to participate. Contestants should play their best licks for up to but not exceeding 3 minutes.

GUITAR

Material may be of any style or genre, original or copied and electric guitar, bass guitar or acoustic guitars may be used (acoustic guitars should have a pickup). Metronome Music will provide all amplification and effects; contestants are required to bring their own guitar.

DRUMS

Metronome Music will provide drum set, double bass pedal and cymbals; contestants are required to bring their own sticks.

Judging: Contestants will be judged on originality, technique, and composition. Participants will receive a score from 1-10 in each category for their performance, which will be added together to form their composite score. The performer with the highest composite score wins.
